Case study · Sample client: Kingston music festival

Sample content

A Kingston festival moved from paper wristbands to scan-to-enter

The organisers needed to cut queue times, stop counterfeit tickets and take payment online. We built a ticketing system with card checkout, mobile scanning at every gate and live sales reporting.

The challenge

Sample content: replace with a real client project.

The festival sold paper tickets through outlets across Kingston. Counterfeits were common, gate queues ran over an hour at peak times, and organisers had no reliable view of sales until the event was over.

What we built

We built an online ticketing system with QR-code tickets delivered by email, plus a scanning app for gate staff. Each ticket could only be used once.

  • Online card checkout with instant ticket delivery
  • QR-code tickets sent by email
  • Scanning app for every gate
  • Live dashboard for sales, payments and entries

The results

Entry scans averaged four seconds, duplicate entries dropped to zero, and the organisers could see sales in real time from launch day.
